This is the basis of lots of different techniques in doing analysis of projects, subjects, tasks. If you think about the 5 different questions then you will be able to have a 360 degree review of the subject.
I learn this a long time ago when I was going for sales jobs. I was working with my mentor some months ago and he mentioned this technique and it made lots of sense.
