A feature length interview with Nick Phillips, who is a personal trainer for 15 years. We talk about his passion for physical fitness from school and college and how he didn’t consider any other profession.
We talk about his first job at David Lloyd Leisure and how he enjoyed the experience.
He then set up his first business Hub Fitness as a home business. We then discuss the way to start a small business with ideas like pop up gyms to generate interest. Interestingly, he has pivoted from a physical gym to online to build a different business model, which has meant he has built a ‘tribe’.
We talk about how he wants to be present in his young boys lives and how that has affected his business.
