If only I had started in a sales role that aligned with my values and beliefs, things might have been different.
But here's the thing: starting a business in your forties brings a wealth of experience that you can tap into. When I started at 27, I was naive and had so much to learn about sales, finance, and marketing. However, there's no perfect way to succeed. Whether you start before you know everything or after, what matters is having a guiding light, a north star.
For me, that light came in the form of mentors and personal development. Surrounding myself with entrepreneurial minds and seeing their amazing achievements inspired me to take the leap. Having someone in your life who has walked the entrepreneurial path can make all the difference.
But beware of unsolicited advice from those who lack experience. We all have friends who claim to know it all, yet have never ventured beyond their comfort zones. When it comes to property or any other field, seek guidance from those who have actually been there and done that.
