Interview with Stacey Brown Randall, who is Showing Business Owners How to Generate Referrals WITHOUT Asking.
Her initial plan was to be a television presenter, but this changed once she graduated. With a family of entrepreneurs and hoteliers she felt she wanted to own her own business, but she started working at the local Chamber of Commerce. She founded Randall Research which helped clients in talent management, engagement and diversity. There is a typical view of entrepreneurship in this episode which is interesting. Unfortunately, the business had to close.
She then returned back to corporate world which she didn’t enjoy. She knew she wanted to start another business but she based it on her referral system. She then developed the 5-step process to receive referrals without asking.
We discuss her plan with sales and marketing outside of referrals but she says relationships are so important. Tracking where clients come is an interesting and important process. She wrote a book and is ready to release a new book called Roadmap to Grow Your Business.
This is a varied and interesting conversation with an expert in getting referrals. I found this helpful in my business.
